There are many ways to train small group leaders. While this is helpful, having a deep understanding of the Bible shouldn't be the driving force behind our efforts to identify new leaders or to train them. I have discovered that one of the most efficient methods to train new small group leaders is to use experienced small group leaders as trainers. This is one of the most successful ways to train new small group leaders. This training may include the length of their commitment, the frequency of other trainings throughout the year and the requirement of their attendance at those trainings, and even the frequency with which they are expected to meet with their group during the course of a given year.
